حضرت عثمان غنی کے دور خلافت میں اسلام کا پہلا بحری بیڑا تیار ہوا۔

بیعت رضوان کے موقع پر آپ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے اپنے دست اقدس کو سیدنا عثمان غنی کا ہاتھ قرار دیا۔

حضرت عثمان غنی نے حضرت ابو بکر صدیق کی دعوت پر اسلام قبول کیا تھا۔

آپ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے فرمایا کہ حضرت عثمان غنی ایسے حیا دار ہیں کہ آسمان کے فرشتے بھی ان سے حیا کرتے ہیں۔

حضرت عثمان بن عفان کے دور خلافت میں اسلامی سلطنت 44 لاکھ مربع میل کے وسیع و عریض خطہ پر محیط تھا۔
