Explanation

On 10th Dhul Hijjah, pilgrims perform Rami al-Jamarat (stoning the devil) at Jamarah Uqbah (the largest pillar).

It is performed on four consecutive days of the Hajj, the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th days of Dhul-Hijjah (the 12th Islamic Month).

On the first day, pilgrims cast seven stones at Jamarat al-Aqaba.
