Explanation

Qutb Uddin Aibak was a slave and general of Muhammad Ghauri.

Later becoming the first ruler of the Delhi Sultanate.

After Ghauri's assassination in 1206, Aibak declared himself Sultan of Delhi and established the Mamluk (Slave) Dynasty.
