On the eve of the Conquest of Mecca in 630, Abu Sufyan decided to become a Muslim.

Abu Sufyan was a cousin of the Prophet.

Abu Sufyan was also a foster brother of the Prophet. 

He was for a short time nursed by the lady Halimah 

Abu Sufyan was a leader and merchant from the Quraysh tribe of Mecca.
