John Rymill

On November 18, 1820, Nataniel Brown Palmer of Stonington, Connecticut discovered  Antarctica, one of  seven continents. At the age of 22, Palmer was an experienced seal hunter and  captain of the sloop hero who was part of Stonington's Sealer fleet.
