Explanation

Mount Etna is located in Italy, specifically on the island of Sicily.

It's Europe's largest and most active volcano. 

It is located above the convergent plate margin between the African Plate and the Eurasian Plate.

In June 2013, it was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites
