It has the most languages of any country in the world! With over 800 known languages.

PNG accounts for approximately 12% of the world's total number of languages. 

This is due to its unique geography, with many isolated mountain valleys and island communities.

The country with the least languages in the world is Vatican City, with only one official language, which is Italian.
