SIM stands for Subscriber Identity Module 

The first SIM card was developed in 1991

It was first invented and manufactured in Munich, by smart-card makers Giesecke and Devrient.

SIM Card used for two passwords:

• PIN  ( Personal Identification Number)
• PUC ( Personal Unblocking Code)
