Explanation

The first biography of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, Life of God's Messenger,

was written by Ibn Ishaq around 767 CE (150 AH).

The original text of Sīrat Rasūl Allāh by Ibn Ishaq is lost,

but much of it was copied into the work of Ibn Hisham, who died in 833 AD (218 AH).

Other editors, such as Ibn Jarir al-Tabari, also helped preserve Ibn Ishaq's work
