Explanation

The Jamarats are three walls located in Mina, Saudi Arabia, that are part of the Hajj pilgrimage.

Pilgrims throw 7 stones at these walls to symbolize the rejection of sin and temptation.

There are three Jamarats:

1. Jamrat al-Aqaba (the largest pillar)
2. Jamrat al-Wusta (the middle pillar)
3. Jamrat al-Ula (the smallest pillar)
