Hazrat Ali (RA) is also known as Abu Turab.

Lion of Allah means Asadullah.

He was belonged to the tribe Quraish and the family of Bani Hashim in Makah.

He was born In the Holy Kabah in Mecca on Friday, 13th Rajab 23 BH.

He was the son of Hazrat Abu Talib (RA) the uncle of Holy Prophet (SAW), who had nourished and brought up Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza (R.A) companion of the Prophet was awarded with the title of "The Lion of Allah".

Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A) was a cousin and son-in-law of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad SAW.

He was ruled as the fourth caliph from 656 until his Shahadat in 661.
