Explanation

A bit is most basic unit of information in computing.

It is short for binary digit, which means that it can only have one of two values, 0 or 1.

Bits are usually assembled into a group of eight to form a byte.

1 Kilobyte (KB)  =  1024 Bytes.

1 Megabyte (MB) = 1024 Kilobytes.

1 Gigabyte  (GB) = 1024 Megabytes.

1 Terabyte (TB) = 1024 Gigabytes.
