Explanation

Article 47 of the 1973 Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan deals with the impeachment of the President.

Other articles of the 1973 Constitution include:

• Article 25-A: Provides free and compulsory education to children aged 5–16 
• Article 13: Protects against double punishment and self-incrimination 
• Article 22: Safeguards educational institutions in respect of religion 
• Article 37 (e): Directs the state to make provisions for securing just and humane conditions of work 
• Article 5: Loyalty to the State and obedience to the Constitution and law are the basic duties of every citizen
