Explanation

"Hajj al-Qiran" refers to a type of Hajj pilgrimage where a pilgrim combines the rites of Umrah and Hajj in one consecration of ihram.

In this type of Hajj, the pilgrim assumes the state of ihram for both Umrah and Hajj together without coming out of it until the completion of the Hajj rituals.

It's one of the three types of Hajj, the others being

1. "Hajj al-Ifrad"
2. "Hajj al-Tamattu"
3. "Hajj al-Qiran"
