Explanation

NACTA (National Counter Terrorism Authority NACTA Pakistan) was established in 2008.

It is an administrative unit within the Ministry of Interior, led by a National Coordinator.

In 2013, the NACTA Act granted it administrative and financial autonomy.

It officially creating it as a body corporate answerable to a Board of Governors.
