Explanation

The Government Islamia College for Women, Cooper Road, Lahore was established in 1939

It was established by Anjaman-e-Hamayat Islam. 

It was the only higher education institution for women that the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, visited in 1946.

Founded by Arya Samaj as the school of Dayanand Anglo Vedic on June 1, 1886,
