Explanation

Professor Dr. Abdul Salam, Pakistan's first Nobel Prize winner, received his Master's degree in Mathematics from Government College, Lahore in 1946.

He later went on to earn his PhD in Physics from Cambridge University.

He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1979 for his work on the electroweak unification of the fundamental forces of nature.
