Explanation

The Rabi season in Pakistan lasts from November–December to April–May.

This is one of the two main crop seasons in Pakistan, along with the Kharif season.

Kharif season: The sowing season for Kharif crops begins in April–June, and the harvesting season is October–December. 

Rabi crops: Examples of Rabi crops include barley, gram, peas, and wheat. 

Kharif crops: Examples of Kharif crops include cotton, groundnut, maize, and rice.
