Explanation

Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Jalaluddin Akbar in 1569 to serve as the capital of the Mughal Empire.

It was a planned city, designed to accommodate the emperor's court, military, and administration.

It was occupied until 1610, when the capital was shifted to Lahore and later to Delhi.
