Al-Shatibi (d. 1388 CE) was a renowned Islamic scholar and theologian from Granada, Spain.

He is best known for his influential work "Al-Muwafaqat fi Usul al-Sharia" (The Reconciliations in the Principles of Jurisprudence).

It is a comprehensive treatise on Islamic theology, jurisprudence, and legal theory.
