Explanation

The Legal Framework Order (LFO) was issued by two different individuals in Pakistan's history: General Yahya Khan in 1970 and General Pervez Musharraf in 2002.

The first LFO was used to establish the legal framework for the 1970 general elections.

The second LFO, issued by Musharraf, made constitutional amendments and extended his presidential term.
