On 16 July 2025. Security forces in Balochistan killed three terrorists during an operation, while Major Syed Rab Nawaz Tariq of the Pakistan Army was martyred in a fierce exchange of fire.

The operation was conducted in the Awaran district of Balochistan based on intelligence inputs.

Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq martyred at the age of 34.

He belonged to Muzaffarabad
